There is a beach that lies beyond this bay Where I once spent many a day Lying on the rocks by the lapping tide Watching the crabs go scuttling by Voices from the waves, they’d call to me And I would jump into the foam Sand and sea were all and all to me Beach and ocean were my home There is a beach that lies beyond this bay Where sand sharks and sea stars play And I could just sit in the sinking sun Smiling back at the horizon Voices from the waves, they’d sing to me And my spirits would rise with the foam Orcas, they would bring to me Gifts from wherever they had roamed There is a beach that lies beyond this bay Where I once spent many a day from Love Songs in the Rain, released May 9, 2014

Written by Ed McCurdy Last night I had the strangest dream I ever dreamed before I dreamed the world had all agreed To put an end to war I dreamed I saw a mighty room Filled with women and men And the papers they were signing said They'd never fight again And when the papers were all signed and a million copies made They all joined hands and bowed their heads And grateful prayers were prayed And the people in the streets below Were dancing round and round And swords and guns and uniforms Were scattered on the ground Last night I had the strangest dream I ever dreamed before I dreamed the world had all agreed To put an end to war from Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream (single), released March 30, 2014
